74LS90 replacement

I thought I was the only one with that problem. My excuse is always that
I'm interested in too many things. 

Please let us know how any experiments on the 3914 work out. I think
this chip has lots of potential for DIY synth projects. And it's quite
easy to work with, in my experience.
