I have seen the article and IMHO this is just a overpriced toy ($250!)
device that is really no better than any of a dozen current
wavetable/midi/gm pc sound cards sold retail for less than $100
US...indeed the chips I am sure you will find are romplyers of no better
sound quality than on these sound cards..so I believe any effort and
money trying to use these and hack some kind of unique and wonderful
synth/audio processor from them will be a major disappointment and waste
of time/money..
