Hi there,
I was on a "Neve" hunt of sorts myself last summer. I thought I'd like
to put together my own 1073 module (class A). I even hunted down someone
with the schematic and got a copy, but its hopeless I think... At least for
the 1073 (many argue this is the classic). The EQ section is all bizarre
inductors and multi-tap doo-hickeys. The website that someone posted is the
basic preamp circuit, which alone might be useful though. I don't know how
protected these are legally, and I don't have a site. If there isn't a big
mess legally, I wouldn't mind scanning what I have, although the files will
likely be large, and the quality not so good.
While the topic is out there, I'd like to find a set of schems for a
1081... I thinks this module relies less on inductors (I'm just guessing
here), but it's Class AB (although many consider it more useable than the
1073), and since AMS/Neve reissued it, I think it'll be next to impossible
to find a set.
