paul perry, the man at the rave in the fluorescent industrial ear
protectors (true!)... I cant hear like I could 40 years ago, but I
can hear as much as I want. More, usually.

Seriously, though, the idea of limters always being in circuit is a good 
one. Saves both the speakers AND you. Also, when you build your own 
gear, there could well be a 30KHz component, or 2MHz, for that matter.
