Phono Preamp

Hmmmm, had a bit of an idea, in that i want to build
a stereo filter (prolly a matched MS20 clone), with
a dual envelepe follower with dual stereo phono inputs,
so that a couple of technics 1200s can be fed through
the filters. This would mean i could control the filter
cutoff of one record with the amplitude of the other,
while they are mixed together, and then with the flick
of a switch swap the records playing over... i'm sure 
this would make for a fantastic effect!

My question is this: what would be an ideal phono preamp
circuit to drive the filter?
