Couldn't agree more strongly with you. 'Bladerunner' is an artistic
tour-de-force in too many ways to list.
(though I doubt there'll ever be another as freaky as Forbidden
>Planet's).
Have you heard the original vinyl press of that soundtrack? It's almost
beyond belief what they acheived on that recording. The Theremin cuts
through the orchestra like a straightrazor... dominates it, totally,
without obscuring it. It's honestly terrifying with the right reproduction...
