Hi All,

>The only one I really care for (but I love it dearly) is Vangelis'
>Bladerunner Soundtrack (Romanian Bootleg Version). Why? I suspect a lot
>of it has to do with how strongly the music is connected with the images

>is one of the greatest soundtracks of all time, for me only 2001's is in

Couldn't agree more strongly with you. 'Bladerunner' is an artistic
tour-de-force in too many ways to list.

(though I doubt there'll ever be another as freaky as Forbidden
>Planet's).

Have you heard the original vinyl press of that soundtrack? It's almost
beyond belief what they acheived on that recording. The Theremin cuts
through the orchestra like a straightrazor... dominates it, totally,
without obscuring it. It's honestly terrifying with the right reproduction...

probed,
Bill
