"Radiotron Designer's Handbook" by Langford-Smith. (4th edition)
If you want tech stuff, this is the one!
Old Colony have a CD ROM version.

"RCA Receiving Tube Manual".
Many tube spec sheets & some characteristics charts.
Reprints available from Antique Electronic Supply and several other
sources.

"ARRL Handbook" earlier editions.
*Lots* of good tube info. Go for it!

"The Ultimate Tone" by Kevin O'Connor.
An excellent book on guitar amps (Published by Power Press)

"The Tube Amp Book" by Aspen Pittman (founder of Groove tubes)
Over 400 guitar amp schematics!

"Vacuum Tube Amplifiers" by G.E. Valley, Jr.
Published by Boston Technical (1964).

"The Audio Designer's Tube Register" by Tom Mitchel. (1993, Media
Concepts).
144 pages full of tube data and characteristics.
