I'm not going to comment on JMJ, Vangelis or TD. Instead I'd like to mention one of my all-time favourite albums. It's not an all-synth record. It has a lot of Hammond organ and even vocals (in addition to the wonderful Moog-sounds). The name of the album is Inferno, and it was made by an italian group called Metamorfosi. I think it came out in 1973. This album is a masterpiece from end to end.
