I was surfing channels and ran across Blondie live on VH-1. The
kbd player had a jp-8k. It cut right through just like a real
analog. I was impressed. I noticed he had it midied up to some
other kbd, he was stretched out as far as he could go. Twiddling
knobs with one hand and playing the other kbd??? I was
confused until the close-up. C3 was broken.... Guess you can't
go at it like it was a Mini or Prophet even if it does sound good.
JIC you're interested in a jp-8k

BTW my 1984 Webster's defines "synthesizer" as " a machine
with a simple keyboard and solid-state circuitry to duplicate
the sounds of musical instruments, often up to 12 instruments
simultaneously.

Often??? What was 12 voice multi-timbral in 1984???
