Hi All,

I'm sorry to hear that Tony does not like Revolutions, I think it's a
quite interesting album (of course in a very different way than Oxygene
or Equinoxe, but still if you listen to it carefully we could learn a
lot from it - interesting sounds and nice songs).

Personally, my favourite is Equinoxe and from the later works
Chronologie. What annoys me is this new album with DJ remixes (Odissey
through O2), I really don't see why should other people rewrite and
remix tracks which are already proven to be good (for people who love
JMJ)!

BTW, I do like the earlier works of mr. Vangelis (Antarctica, Blade
Runner OST,...). But sometimes I don't like to hear always the same
synth sounds and ensembles, somehow you could always tell from a few
seconds that this song is performed by Vangelis.
Of course, an artist should have his sounding, but if you look at e.g.
Tangerine Dream (earlier works!), they also have their characteristic
sounds, but you can feel that there is a lot of imagination behind the
notes.

So my rank:
1. Jean Michel Jarre (the whole discography, except Odissey)
2. Tangerine Dream (earlier works)
3. Vangelis (earlier works)

That's my opinion.

Arpad.
