ODP: DAC resolution / availability

That's just what I said. Or maybe I didn't express myself clearly.
Anyway,
according to expensive resistors in home-made DACs, whenever
I did such thing, I used one value 1% SMD resistors (paralel or serial
connection to get R-2R) on tape, and almost all of them mathed
better than I could measure with 3.5 digit DMM. These were strange
round devices; flat 1206 don't seem to be so acurate though.
But I wouldn do it again for a dac bigger than 6-bit.
