DAC resolution / availability

 Anyone have any advice / part numbers / manufacturers they might
suggest?

 The AD7541AKN seems to be the most promising DAC. It has all the data bits on separate pins (18 pin DIP). You can download the datasheet from Analog Devices. Looks good. +-1/2 LSB relative accuracy over the entire temperature range. Price is $14 at my supplier (quantity one).
