TTL to CMOS and Part Miner

Harry Bissell: (I forgot... looked it up on the web. Check Motorola web site
for distributors and pricing) Also: anybody run across a program called "Part
Miner" Its a search engine for finding components, meant for engineers and
buyers. If you have a VALID part number It'll contact
Hamilton/Avnet...Newark...etc) and get price and delivery. If you don't have a
valid number it will waste your F at ckng time !!!

RE. The open collector / pull-up solution... It doesn't have active pullup,
will probably consume more power... but WHO CARES !!! Whatever gets you
through the night....   ;-) Harry

Thanx for the advice, but where do you get that part for so cheap ? Here, it
costs more than
$2.00 a piece...
Obviously, the solution with a 7407 and puul-up Rs is 4 times cheaper !
