IRC stands for internet relay chat. It is a common form of mass-chat that
takes place 24hours a day on various servers worldwide. Most people will
find the majority of channels on IRC to be offensive - perverts, perverts,
perverts.

But, it is still a free resource to the public. And it's possible to keep a
channel clean if you are dilligent.

Download one of the popular IRC clients such as 'mIRC' from download.com.
