I tried all the usual things. The best I could come up with was a 3080
, s&h cap and fet follower in the loop. Worked pretty good, but still
leaks (just a tiny bit), however it won't do for something like vco freq.

I need something like Paul P. describes as "Will wait for say, until
the eventual heat death of the universe with no droop." ...:-)

I'ts worth a try. Anything to keep from running a clock all over my
analog stuff. I'll get a couple and check it out..Thanks Gene.

Anybody ever try the LM3900 ramp & hold scheme?
