As long as the OS can run programs of that era they should be
fine...most ancient PC games will run on the latest machines apart
from the fact that games developers are dirty whatevers and many games
aren't clock regulated and will run at an obscene speed ;) I doubt
softsynths would fall into this trap.

If you have windows check out www.software-technology.com and look at
the VAZ stuff...I'm afraid the free demo is ancient at the moment,
I've been too busy with VAZ Modular 2. It's all my own work so I guess
I can call it "diy"...?
