Hi all:

In case anyone is interested, there is a nice page of papers from the
DAFX 98 conference. Go check out

http://www.iua.upf.es/dafx98/papers/

Find of the day: Scott Wardle's paper on a digital implementation of the
classic Bode/Hutchins frequency shifter (he was a student of Bernie's at
Cornell). Unlike most other digital implementations of the frequency
shifter which use FIR Hilbert transformers, Wardle's design uses an IIR
Hilbert transformer. This would allow for all of the nice feedback
effects that an analog frequency shifter allows, without the delay
imposed by an FIR filter. Lots of other good papers, hopefully some of
interest to you analog gurus on the list.

Later,

Sean Costello (who wants to put all the cool analog ideas on this list
into the digital realm)
