Hmm, my guess is that - like many busy people, myself included -
he acts very different, depending on the circumstances and his
momentary temper.
Personally I had both, a positive and a negative experience with him,
the negative being the EN stuff, and the positive being a very helpful mail
fom him when I had problems building the Frequency Shifter (my first try
with the later abandoned BFO version). I wonder if he even recognized
that he sent both mails to the same person.

Anyway, it's good to hear some positive experiences ordering EN's
again.
(But Terry, honestly: Considering the multitude of excellent contributions
to EN from your side he *must* have remembered your name, and 
sending you the fills for free is something you surely deserved !)
