Transformer rewinding is probably not a viable option costwise. If you can
find out what the proper voltages were, you can probably find a replacement.
Most manufacturers use standard "off the shelf" transformers... but whose
shelf ??? Not radio-shack for sure. Try Signal Transformer (fax 516-239-7208
New York USA) don't know if they are on the web.... And you can use more
than one transformer (one for plus-minus supply and one for logic... etc) No
reason not to if you have the room to fit it. My modular has been running
for the last 25 years on two 18VAC transformers....   :-) Harry Bissell
