Hmm... I've heard many criticisms of the MIDI2CV8, but never that it
deserved the status of a toy. IMO, the PAiA is the smart choice for the DIY
oriented person. 

Since I'm giving opinions, let me give this one: features are failures. Why
would you want program storage and intelligent routing in a device that
really just needs to be a controller? Don't you alrady have such functions
implemented  in your midi sequencer software/hardware? Now you have twice
the chance of a hardware problem :) (two systems to break).

BTW; to the makers of competing products: If your product is truly as
superlative as you claim, then it should be able to support itself purely
on its merits alone, not by treading on the back of it's competition...
