I have the SE-50, and later did a side-by-side comparison to it's successor,
the SE-70. They had significantly improved the vocoder algorithm in this later
version. Of course the '70 is probably more expensive. There are quite a 
bit of improvements in the '70 though. I would gladly pay the difference 
in price.
