My personal choice (much cheaper and simpler) is the SSM2024 (also by Analog
Devices). It is still being sold, but may be replaced by the 2164 at some
point (too bad, I like the 2024 better and the 2164 isn't a drop-in
replacements). The data sheet for the 2024 even has a basic diagram for a vc
x-fade with audio response.
