I believe the 'O' refers to a Roland selection grouping of 2SK30 fets -
probably the 'orange' group.
You'll also find Y and G types (yellow and green ?) on other Roland
schematics.
I don't have any further details than this, but I think I have a couple of
2SK30(O) extracted from a Sh09 somewhere, so if you can tell me how pinch
off and threshold voltage should be measured, I can tell you the specific
characteristics of the parts I have.
