PWM from Elektor.. anyone tried?

No, I haven't built it, but I remember well the elektor article.
I think much of it is to prevent the PW from going below 0%
of above 100%, so they did limit the LFO amplitude depending
on the manual knob position.

Developed at a time when low noise opamps and VCAs were
rarities. Can't see a good reason why one would use PWM
for a phaser today.

Just from memory, so I may be wrong.
