LinnDrum/K250 Battery Question

I just replaced the 3 Ni-Cds in my LinnDrum with replacements that I got
at the local "Batteries Plus".  The ones they sold me are 940 mAh as
opposed to the 500mAh rating of the old ones.  They told me it wouldn't
make a difference, but I figure I should probably ask here.

Also, I needed to get a replacement battery for my K250, a Varta Mempac,
also a Ni-Cd.  The only replacement that's available is the "same
battery" in a NiMH.  Any reason that I can't use that one?
