My best trick to saving your tunes is to keep my minidisc recorder going
all the time. MD's are $2.50 or so now, and in mono mode they go for
almost 150 minutes. Very handy. Plus if there's nothing worthwhile you can
just erase it all and start over.. but it's worth it for that one gem.

Much better than recording midi data. So often I come opon a midi file
where I forget to record the patches, and wonder what I was thinking when
I was recording it..
