dip8>TO99 or can cans. . . ?

Most TO99 can have leads that can just be bent to fit the DIP8 outline. These were
available from most manufacturers as a lead-form option when DIP's first became
popular. There were also some plastic formers available at one time for this
use... I think BIVAR was one manufacturer of them...  :^) Harry
