This is a sad situation! Kevin is a great guy who cares and shares his work freely, he probably
should have kept this one a little closer to his vest and sued the SOB when it became evident he
got ripped off, if it ment that much to him. There are opportunist everywhere who have no scruples
in taking something you have poured sweat over and calling it theirs so they can make money on it.
Take your pick most companies are guilty of this. Most notably Apple and Microsoft. Almost the same
situation of buddy-up, infiltrate and rip-off. How about a Apple/Microsoft boycott until they
compensate the people they ripped-off?
Historically the guy that has the idea is seldom the moving force behind it's success. To idea
people the important things are more ideas, ideas are power. To most people money is power and they
are helpless without it. What feeds your ego?
To me it's good music and cool circuits. I'll never be rich because I can't take advantage of
anybody. It's a moral imperative and the major reason I'm not in the repair industry anymore. But
I'm having a great life and have no problem looking at myself in the mirror. I have seen some of my
ideas appearing in commercial products (<- meaning sold for profit). Right now I don't care but if
someone made a ton of money.....who knows? I would probably be pissed too.
Kevin doesn't mention the price but I bet he sold his for half of what the commercial-rip cost.
Just a guess!
