Alpha 77?

Hi all:

Does anyone here know anything about the Alpha 77 system used by Can? The recent Can box has a video
of Can performing "Vernal Equinox" and Irmin Schmidt can be clearly seen twisting some dials on what
looks like a homemade / custom modular system, although I couldn't see any patch cords. Pretty nifty
stuff. I did find a reference on the web to H. Hogg of Zurich, who made this stuff. Anyone else have
more info?
