that there is exactly it... these people are in for money. And once they get a
taste of how much they can actually make, then they go all out. I've noticed
that stright off... their whole trying to remake the 303, catering to the new
commercial fad of electronica. I've had several of my guitar/bass/live drum
friends come up to me, and say hey, this friend of mine got this awesome "techno
machine". Then I find out they're either talking about the MC-303 or 505, and
then I begin to tell them how it's really just a rehash of a 303 wannabe, and
the X0X drum machines. Now suddenly we get all these "DJs" and "techno bands :P"
pop up around town, and what are they armed with? Why MC-202's and 505's of
course!
Same thing happened with the store I work for. Little local video game store I
used to hang out when I was younger. But as I've got a job... it's gotten more
and more evil. Same thing with like Apple and Microsoft... watch Pirates of
Silicon Valley on TNT if you can. Caught that last night, and it's a good
example of this same thing.
Sorry, had to throw my little blurb in...
