The name. The Audity 2000 is an all-digital ROMpler, with the same batch
of 6th order digital filters found in a lot of the current E-Mu synths
(not that there is anything wrong with these filters, mind you). I think
that there are plenty of routings on the Audity 2000 designed for
creating techno-type music (i.e. things that rhythmically sync up to
each other), but I don't know if there are any "modular" type routings
available, in terms of audio-rate modulation of various parameters.
