I have a question about JH's old-MS20 style VCF (Korg35 based).

Why a diode is used for limiting CV range?  Doesn't the diode cause
unpleasant nonlinear effect?

In MS20, I think the CV range is limited in the CV mixer
(non-inverting amp using half of an 4558).  The gain of the mixer is
over 2.0, which is very strange for me.  So, I guess the main purpose
of the mixer is clipping the sum of CVs at the power supply
voltage(s).
