squelch unit?

If you run a resonant patch through a decent distortion unit, you'll be
pretty happy. I have a Boss ROD-10 which I paid too much for, but it's a
wonderful little unit. It has a little EQ built in, 3 different types of
overdrive, distortion, and fuzz. Noisy as hell, so I try and insert it
after the VCF but before the final VCA. I've also found doubling up
filters (such as two MS-20 styles, 1 HP and 1 LP) in series leads to nice
possibilities. The latter is quite easy to build, see Tomg's web page.
