Hello Juergen, I have seen the diode bridge rectifiers fail in several OB-8's (the 5v supply). The symptoms were sometimes similar to those you describe. Replacing them with a new one always took care of the problem. Use one spec'ed for a bit more current if you can (but it's not absolutely necessary). Michael Bacich
