Here's a couplea thoughts:
Longevity of connecters probably does not matter to anyone who is going to
be buying $xxx(x?) wires for their system, they will just throw them away
in a year for NEW fancy gold-plated 99.99% OFC cables.
Differences in wire material might make for *some* problems if your ears
are really good, as thermal changes will be reflected.
You know, it's kind of funny. At work today, we trashed a LOT of oxy free
copper. Heh. Gotta love ultra high vacuums. For those who are curious:
