Such as the signal decoupling electrolytics? AFAIK these can be found in
the signal chain even in audio gear that gets the higher ratings in those
audiophile mags. And I've also never seen an IC/transistor/t*be with gold
plated contacts.
Also I've heared rumors about 4558s inside these instruments. Being rated as
"crystal clear, transparent, etc..."
To me it seems the only explanation is: most audiophiles (and writers of
those mags) have NO clue about electronics. They don't open up their boxes.
And the manufacturers make you pay $$$ for everything they left out.
