The Tandy PZM was discontinued in the US about a year ago.  They now sell a 
"Boundary Microphone" that *looks* like a PZM, but isn't...  and it doesn't 
sound anything like the original PZM's... 

If you find an original PZM, you can get two 6V  1/2AA sized batteries and 
put them in place of the single AA to get your 12V power.  1/2AA batteries 
can usually be found at camera shops.
