[slightly OT] analog FIR flters

Has anyone elses curiosity been aroused by one of the circuit ideas in the
current Electronics World (UK publication, but popular throughout Europe I
think) for a 'New FIR speaker crossover'. I thought I understood FIR
filters in the digital domain at least but i'm struggling to understand how
this can work - furthermore, simulations I did last night didn't produce
the advertised results. Anyone...?
