Talking about Hollywood. What about John Williams score for STAR WARS?!
I liked that very much (I don't know about the newest score). I've
copied some tracks of a borrowed Lucasarts PC game called "Jedi Knight,
Dark Forces II" (cool if you're a sw fan). There's a track #5 CD2 I
think which has some very nice sounding gassy synth on it. I bet it's a
PPG or a VS, but since the VS is from 1986 I don't think it is.

As I'm on the subject, I've always wanted to know how they've made those
briliant sound effects. Anyone info about that? I believe (very
vaguely), they've used a custom SAMSON sound computer for some of the
effects. Well, R2D2 is easy but the other stuff I don't know some of it
sounds to sophisticated for analogue synthesis.
