Wow that is really cool. I really like how small the unit is too. That is
what appeals to me about the little handheld osziFOX too. I know the oszifox
isn't that detailed but for most "troubleshooting" it will be nice. I'm not
quite to the point where I'm designing stuff yet for a larger scope but I do
have a need for one badly moreso by the day instead of bugging my friend all
the time :)

Both of these I would love to either port or code a simulator for winCE
devices on pdas. The oszifox is serial the bitscope is parralel but it can
probably use serial if only for singular tracing. I'll email and ask. I
actually managed to get the serial interface pinouts from Everex for the
Everex Freestyle and Trogon Palmpower. I have been (very slowly) working on a
serial midi sequencer/sysex for it. Essentially to function like the Roland
pma5.

If anyone is interested in the technology I REALLY recommend the Trogon pda
winCE device as it is an oem of the Everex. I have had the best support from
that company, beginning to end and they are very inexpensive. Hold out a few
more weeks though as their new color 24mb units with CE 3.0 will be shipping.
For the $300 you can pick one up on ubid.com like I did for the 16mb version
when they came out, you can't beat the portability. I really have little need
for a pc now.

If anyone has these I mentioned I would be glad to forward the serial
information. It is basic RS232. I have the connector part numbers and
pinouts.
Thanks AGAIN for all the help guys.
Quint

Also, this guy: http://www.bitscope.com/ has me intrigued...

It is a mixed signal ( 4x analog up to 100MHz, 8x digital logic level )
input with output going right to the screen of your PC.

Fully assembled is about $350 but it was designed with the intent of using
off-the-shelf components and bare boards plus two critical pre-programmed
chips are available for $70
