hmmm. Cubase Audio for Atari has a real time compression of 16 Bit .AIF audio which reduces files to 50% in size. Always. Don't know how do they do it, but it sounds very good. Nevertheless a bit expensive for a zipper only and not very widely used also.:)
But the compression you talk about. What is it? I mean, PC software or what? I'm looking for something like that..
