OK, I have a deal for DIY'ers interested in this subject. I have one of
the PAiA 3 octave keyboards in the tolex road carrying case with the built
in power supply and some digital internals. It was one that was sold with
some of their 4700 series modules. I have long since parted with the 4700
series modules but still have this keyboard in this tolex case. The power
supply appears to be good but I think problems exist with the digital
electronics. Anyhow, it could make a nice diy controller for one so
inclined.

I would like to make this available to anyone on this list who is truely
interested in building a home brew controller. None of the keys are broken
and the mechanism and contacts all appear to be in working order.

I really don't need any money for it, but when things are advertised as
"free" sometimes everyone wants it (even those who may never use it). So,
I am pricing this keyboard at $5 plus actual shipping cost. If the person
who gets it thinks that I over-charged them at $5, I will refend their
money. However, you will be out the shipping, and this is not real light.
I would allow $15 or so in your "is it worth it" calculations for shipping
in the US. The actual amount may vary.

I really just want to see this go to a good home where it will be used. I
know I never will as I am perfectly satisfied with my MIDI / Kenton pro2000
combination for CV controls.
