Japanese, actually. Designed by the clever people of Korg. (;->)

I think the trannys form a PUT programmable unijunction transistor which I
have long known about, but only recently tried. The Motorola Thyristor Data
Book has a nice explanation...

What about sync ??? How can you add it. One thing you should try is to sync
the 4024 divider using the unused reset input. I've done this kind of thing B4
and it is strange, but useful. Sync for both sawtooth and divider at the same
time is preferred, but if you can't mess with the CCO, the divider is next
best.

Also, the divider outputs are great square waves... better than a PWM in
symmetry. I see maybe four pair of these in a single rack space... maybe with
some real clever use of the divider and waaveshaping...
What is the VCO range for sweep applications??

I'll be thinking about it... BUT V/HZ???

(yeah, I know... another infidel...)
