I just tried it on the first sample I found.

Here are the two directory listings:

Volume in drive C is LEVIATHAN
 Volume Serial Number is 0C2F-1505

 Directory of C:\download

06/01/99 10:53a 368,820 melstas2.wav
06/01/99 10:55a 362,358 melstas2.zip
               2 File(s) 731,178 bytes
                            120,291,328 bytes free

This was with WinZIP ( we have a site license ) set at Maximum compression.

Zipped? I thought that zip compression is suitable only for data files
not pcm audio. Audio seems to be very random for a zip program I think.
Or am I talking b***shit?

Another think has anyone got a prophet VS for sale here in Europe? I
understand there are a bit unreliable. Does it have aftertouch and other
keyboard modulations sources? I've understood that the cutoff freq can
be modulated with the mod wheel, is the wheel directly (analogue) routed
to the analogue filter? Got to have that VS!

Thanks,
