I have exactly the same problem. I sell the ModBox add on for the TR606, and my
pitch sweep circuit is based on the one from The Mix. I pulled my hair out for 12
hours last night trying to get it to work properly. I found that reducing the 220ohm
resistor to about 57ohms worked. It is a very finicky and stupid circuit. I am going
to try and come up with a better design, with a proper voltage control, so that the
bass drum can be played over a 1 octave range from a keyboard. Imagine a 303
sequencer playing that!

Anyone on here get this part of the BD mod to work?
Mine just seems to turn the bd off when I connect it to the hi tom trig out..
I have rebuilt this part of the circuit about 3 times now, checking and rechecking..
I think there may be something inherently wrong with the way its laid out, hence it being sort of an afterthought in the Mix series.
It seems to makes sense, but it definitely does NOT work on mine..
Any answers?
Rob
