Anyone built the PAIA 9730 yet?

Hi, 

I just finished building my 9730 and I was wondering if anyone else out
there has completed one.

The reason that I ask is that I'm noticing two things that are a bit strange
and would like to see if someone else has noticed them.:

1. The input signal is moderately filtered despite the cutoff being wide
open -  passing all frequencies. I know that the unit is supposed to be
16hz-16KHz, but I find it hard to believe that these old, heavy metal abused
ears can hear the difference...

2. the built in AR envelope generator has a very hot signal - 

I've been a good boy & double checked my work ( maybe I'll triple check!),
read through the instructions - twice. etc.

Of course, I'll be calling PAIA tommorow to see if they have any answers,
but I figurd I'd check with the list.
