For my modules I designed a circuit that drives a bicolor LED. It glows green when there is enough signal and red when there is too much. It uses two opamps and some diodes, etc. You can find the schematics at http://www.idg.se/personal/bergfors/bergfotron/Signalindikator%20W.gif
