ASM1 - MAT02 or 2N3904 opinions?

Greetings,

I've been building my ASM1 and was wondering what the general opinion is re:
using the MAT02 or 2N3904 (2) in the VCO section.  I already have the 3904 s
but spending the extra $$$ on the matched pair wouldn't be a big deal if it
really yields better performance.

PS_ I remember seeing a JPG of a finished ASM1 - PCB somewhere....Can anyone
point me to it ?
I can't seem to find it on any of the ASM1 sites...
