ODP: DIY modular module size

If you can get wooden boxes for free, then go for it. You can always
stick aluminium or copper adhesive tape inside of them as shielding.
For me making wooden boxes is much more work than metal ones.
This is the reason why I think it's no good idea to use wood for every
module.
One advantage of brass casing - you can solder to it. Like seen
in Bergfotron

I use copper claded galss epoxy for panels, and 0.5mm brass for back
cover
