A friend at work is doing a school project using a Lorenz attractor in
Labview and I was speculating about doing one in analog.
(I admit it was pretty vague speculation.)
It seems like you could build one with adders, subtractors,
multipliers, attenuators, and integrators.
Standard analog computer stuff.
I dug out an old basic pgm I did and noticed some
of the numbers are way more than +/- 15.
So the it would have to be scaled down and not
be like 1=1V.
And how to make the feedback loops?
I'm guessing thru resistors to the x,y, and z capacitors.
Cap size would set the speed(?)
I saw it done on a NOVA show about chaos.
Sorry I'm getting off topic and rambling. But I am interested.
